  1. ScreenShift
  2. ===========

  4. ScreenShift is a small program that allows you to adjust the position of
  5. the screen on your display, just like a well-known Preferences function.
  6. It is useful for the temporary changes which don't require loading all
  7. forty some odd kilbytes of Preferences.  It is also useful for those who
  8. use 'morerow'ed (overscan screens) to get a look at the 'hidden' sections.

  10. ScreenShift may be started from either the WorkBench or CLI.  The display
  11. may be move by either using the mouse and the proportional gadget or
  12. the cursor keys for fine tuning.  The gadget's knob is the small box with
  13. an italic 'SS' written inside.  To quit the program, either click on the
  14. window close gadget or press RETURN.

  16. The source code is PD and may be used in any way anywhere.  You can even
  17. sell it, if you find anyone crazy enough to pay for it.

  19. Shortcomings:  (what do you expect for a hack?)
  20. - doesn't save setting (simple addition to it)
  21. - no undo feature; WYSIWYG
